He was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY on May 31st, 1997. He has 16 years of Active Duty service as an Armor Officer. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Military History from USMA and a Master’s Degree in Adult and Continuing Education from Kansas State University. LTC Wall’s military schools include: Intermediate Level Education (ILE) at the Command and General Staff College, the Cavalry Leader’s Course, the Armor Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, Airborne School and the Master Fitness Trainer Course.LTC Wall’s military career has included multiple duty assignments at Fort Hood, Fort Polk, Fort Knox, Fort Leavenworth and Fort Riley. He has participated in a contingency deployment to Bosnia and two combat deployments to Iraq. He has served as a tank platoon leader, a tank company executive officer, a cavalry troop commander, a headquarters troop commander, a brigade plans officer, the cavalry doctrine branch chief, battalion executive officer and squadron operations officer.
His personal decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, (3) Meritorious Service Medals, (3) Army Commendation Medals, (3) Army Achievement Medals, (2) National Defense Service Medals, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, (3) Iraq Campaign Medals, the Global War on Terror Service Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Nato Medal, the Combat Action Badge, the Parachutist Badge and various other unit awards and decorations.Lieutenant Colonel Wall and his wife Myrna have two children; son Gregory, and daughter Kara.
