Next Steps

Now that you're admitted...


  • Accept your offer for admission by sending your $200.00 Reservation Fee to MMI Admissions.  You can contact the Admissions Office at 1-800-664-1842  and pay by phone or you  can mail a check or money order to Marion Military Institute, ATTN:  Director for Admissions, 1101 Washington Street, Marion, Alabama 36756.

  • Complete Applicant File by turning in all required documents:
    - Final High School Transcript with graduation date (send upon graduation)
    - Official  ACT or SAT scores
    -Official College Transcript (if you attended any college)
    -Copy of Birth Certificate
    -Copy of Immunization Records
    -Copy of Social Security Card
    -Copy of Primary ID
    -$30 application fee

  • Send you AP scores to receive credit. Students who have taken Advanced Placement (AP) tests and wish to have their scores considered for credit at Marion Military Institute should have their scores sent to the Office of the Registrar listed above.  Students are encouraged to submit their scores prior to their arrival.

  • Verify Residency. Your residency status for tuition purposes is included in your letter of admissions.  It is your responsibility to enroll under the correct residency classification for tuition purposes.  If you disagree with your residency classification as determined by the Director for Enrollment, you must notify the Office of Admissions and Records to have your discrepancy case reviewed.  

  • If you are doing the ARMY ROTC ECP, make sure you are on track with your ROTC paperwork.

  • Schedule Accuplacer Placement Test. You can schedule to take this placement test at a location convenient to you by calling our Academic Office: 334.683.2334
