Cadets selected for national leadership conferences at senior military colleges

This spring, several MMI cadets will attend national leadership conferences hosted by senior military colleges.

USAFA 2017 Character and Leadership Symposium:  Cadets Vernadette Lapena and Phillip R. Goodwin have been selected to represent MMI at the annual US Air Force Academy Character and Leadership Symposium.  This very prestigious event will be held 22-24 February and brings together distinguished scholars, military leaders, corporate leaders, world-class athletes, and others to explore a character-related theme based on the United States Air Forces Academy Outcomes. This two-day symposium provides an opportunity for all Academy personnel, visiting university students and faculty, and community members to experience dynamic speakers and take part in group discussions to enhance their own understanding of the importance of sound moral character and good leadership.  Designed as a personal development symposium the cadets will be hosted by Air Force Academy cadets in the Academy dorms and be able to choose from a wide variety of presentations.

The Citadel 10th Annual Principled Leadership Symposium: Cadets Hannah Maynard, Chris Flodstrom, Zachary Jones, and Daniella Maroki will represent MMI at The Citadel's Principled Leadership Symposium is a nationally-lauded event held 16-17 March in Charleston, SC. This is a cadet/student-centered conference focusing on leadership and ethics.
