MMI provides a scheduled school break shuttle-service for a charge of $100.00 to and from the Birmingham, Alabama Shuttlesworth International Airport and the Intermodal Facility (Greyhound, Megabus, Amtrak).  You should allow a four-hour travel time for any delays (traffic/weather/mechanical issues) when scheduling your arrival and departure times to ensure you meet mandatory time requirements for check-in. No service to Montgomery Airport available. Cadets should inform their parents of shuttle dates so flights can be scheduled to correspond with shuttle bus departures.

MMI also provides individual transport for a charge (round-trip) for authorized medical and other necessary school-related appointments. Trips allow for 2-hours wait time. Time beyond allotted wait time is billed at an additional $20.00 per hour rounded to the nearest quarter-hour. Trips after normal business hours will be billed at double the rate.

The MMI Business Office, (334) 683-2315, requires that you complete a transportation request/charge agreement before scheduling your travel.  When complete, you will receive confirmation from Transportation via email (transportation@marionmilitary.edu) or text (334) 292-0288.

Transportation scheduling requirements are:

• Cadet must complete a transportation request form a minimum of 5 days before departure with Mr. Houston
• Copy of itinerary
• Cadet cell number
• Fee paid before departure

Rate per passenger for one-way SHUTTLE transportation with group:

$100.00……………….. Shuttle bus from BHM to MMI Guard House
