Ozark is honored and proud to host the tournament in Historic Eagle Stadium. Built in 1946, it has been home to minor league teams and players who moved up to the major league. We are sure you will feel the excitement when you hear the ball hitting the bat or the catcher’s mitt as it echoes through the stands. When not at Eagle Stadium, please take in our warm hospitality, other recreation and local attractions. Our Leisure Services Department operates parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, ball fields and Ed Lisenby Lake, a 92-acre excellent fishing lake with boat rentals available. The lake also is home to a 3.5 mile walking and nature trail. Locally owned Ozark Country Club has an 18-hole championship golf course that is open to the public. Other local attractions include Historic Claybank Church, the Dowling Museum/Ann Rudd Art Center, the Carillon Bell Tower, Police Memorial Park, Steagall Park, and Alabama’s Aviation College campus. On the edge of Ozark is Fort Rucker, the United State Army’s Aviation Training Center. Here you can see the Army’s latest warfighting helicopters as they train, or visit the Army Aviation Museum which houses the complete history of Army Aviation. BANQUET: The Banquet/Opening Ceremonies will be held at the Ozark Civic Center on Friday, May 7. Officials, Coaches, Players and Umpires should arrive no later than 5:45pm. The banquet will begin at 6:00pm. Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District, Congressman Bobby Bright will be the guest speaker. COACHES MEETING: Coaches meeting held by Al Cox will follow the banquet. HOSPITALITY: Hospitality will be provided in the Auburn Room in the Civic Center for ACCC Officials, Umpires, Coaches and Tournament Staff.
