MMI Army ROTC - Bold Tiger Battalion
MMI's Bold Tiger Battalion is committed to identifying the most qualified cadets, develop COMPETENT, AGILE leaders and retain QUALITY cadets to commission the future officer leadership of the U.S. Army.
In 2010, MMI produced more commissioned officers than any of the other Military Junior Colleges and more than the combined total of Auburn University and the University of Alabama.
MMI Federal & State Contributions
- Currently have more than 120 second lieutenant officers from MMI enrolled in a four-year institution
- 46 are in the State of Alabama serving in the Alabama National Guard/Army Reserve
- MMI generates the largest number of ROTC cadets (84 currently enrolled) of any college/university in the State of Alabama simultaneously serving as members of the Alabama National Guard and Reserve Component
- Produced more than 200 generals and flag officers
- Currently have more than 200 fomer cadets enrolled at the five U.S. Service Academies
