The Annual Fund enables MMI to offer a superior education for our cadets by addressing our most urgent needs. A yearly contribution to this fund directly impacts the future of this prestigious institution. Unlike endowments, the Annual Fund is an unrestricted and highly flexible source of funding available to support Marion Military Institute’s highest priorities.
Every Gift Counts No Matter What Size!
Alumni participation is based on a gift of any size—no matter how large or small. Foundations evaluate the annual alumni giving participation as a benchmark for their own grants to colleges and universities for building programs. Rating services like U.S. News and World Report take into consideration the alumni giving participation when ranking colleges with their peers. These groups use the alumni giving percentage as an indicator that a college has strong alumni satisfaction. The national average of alumni giving percentage is 35%. The current participation percentage of MMI is 7.9%. Our goal is to increase our alumni giving percentage to 20% — that’s where we need your help!
