ROOMMATE REQUESTS

FALL 2012
Cadets who would like to room together may complete a roommate request form. Each cadet needs to list the cadet they wish to room with. The roommate request must be mutual, and both cadets must request to room with one another in writing. The requests are not guaranteed, but honored when possible. Roommate assignments begin at the end of July, so both students must have their request forms completed and submitted to the Commandant’s Office by Junl 13, 2012, at 1700 hours (5:00 pm CST) in order to provide the greatest opportunity to be assigned to the same company and barracks. A cadet cannot hold a space for another cadet.
For cadets that do not have specific roommate requests, roommates are assigned using specific criteria, such as academic programs, athletic programs, etc.
ROOM CHANGE INFORMATION
Room change request will be accepted during the following dates for the 2012-2013 Academic Year:
Fall Semester 2012 Spring Semester 2013
September 4-7 January 15-18
September 10-14 January 21-25
In order to make a room change, you MUST first complete a room change request form. The room change request form must be completely filled out. The form MUST be signed by both the cadet’s Company Commander and Company TAC Officer, PRIOR to submission of the form to the Commandant’s Office. Once a cadet receives approval through the Commandant’s Office for the room change a room key will be issued. At that point, the cadet will be authorized to move to another room.
Room change requests are processed on a first-come first serve basis and availability is not guaranteed.
Failure to follow the room change procedure will result in your request for room change to be denied.
Company TAC Officers may make changes to the room assignments as needed. However it is the cadet’s responsibility to ensure that a room change form is completed and submitted to the Commandant’s Office.
