MARION TO ADD RUGBY CLUB TEAM
MARION (4/08) - Marion Military Institute will expand its club sports offerings for the 2008-2009 school year by adding rugby. This past spring the tigers traveled to Tuscaloosa to take on the University of Alabama's B-Team in their first game. Marion was able to walk away with a hard-fought 7-7 tie and the respect of everyone in attendance. The goal is to have a full spring schedule next year with a tough pre-season schedule this coming fall.
