A special project courtesy of the Engstrom family

Also view the Dairy Queen, old windmill, classic vehicles, ladies with hats and long skirts.
This footage is brought to you in color by the courtesy of the home movies of the parents of Carl and Paul Engstrom. The movies were shot in 8mm and Super 8mm by Mr. Engstrom during the timeline of September 1955 through May 1963. Due to the conversion of 8mm film to DVD, some of the parades and White Knight Drills are faster than the actual marching speed. The Super 8 films runs at normal speed.
The movies are not in order, and the years are not labeled. Therefore you need to look for certain identifiers: Before 1959-60, Army-style chevrons were worn by noncoms, and officers wore pips. In 1961and later, officers wore West Point-type chevrons to distinguish rank. In 1961-62 there was a parade where White Knights were given certificates, and SFC Wright immediately collected the certificates back!
You, your spouse or girlfriend, your children, and grandchildren will enjoy seeing this part of your history! This is the only record of these years we have on film!
