We invite all MMI alumni and friends to join us for Alumni Weekend 2010 this spring. The weekend will begin Thursday evening, April 8, with the Alumni Brigade Fish Fry at the Excess House. Friday's events will include a historic tour of Marion, the traditional alumni golf tournament, and a President's Reception at the home of Colonel and Mrs. Mollahan. We also invite guests to stop by downtown Marion for a booksigning (10 a.m. to noon, Anderson-Barnes Antiques) featuring regional authors Mary Ward Brown & Kathryn Tucker Windham.
On Saturday, guests will observe demonstrations by the Choir and Band, White Knights, and Swamp Fox. The Alumni Brigade will also hold its annual membership meeting, where members will vote and elect the President of the Brigade as well as four new members of the Board of Directors. Immediately following the traditional alumni BBQ lunch, the Corps of Cadets Parade will take place, where the Alumnus of the Year will be honored and the alumni platoon will join the Corps during the pass in review. Saturday evening, several classes that are organizing reunions will be hosting a Reunion Party in Selma for ALL ALUMNI complete with a band, cash bar, and hors d' oeuvres. Check out
