About the Brigade
The MMI Alumni Brigade (the “Brigade”) is the official alumni organization of Marion Military Institute (“MMI”). Membership in the Brigade is open to all individuals interested in the current and future success of MMI. The Brigade exists to support the school in a number of ways. Financial resources are used to fund student activities and on-campus improvements that are either not in the current budget or are otherwise not eligible for school funds. Also, Brigade members often volunteer their time to participate in school functions. It is often said that seeing the alumni giving of their time and energy makes a profound and invaluable impression on parents, students, faculty and staff.
Recently, the Alumni Brigade was fortunate enough to serve the school and alumni in the following ways:

The Alumni Brigade donated $10,000 to the MMI Capital Campaign to assist with funding Johnson Hall summer 2011 renovations.

Brigade volunteers continued their annual tradition of assisting with Cadet Move-in Days during the beginning of each school year.

During Alumni Weekend 2011, the Brigade sponsored a Fish Fry and hospitality suite for returning alumni and friends. The Brigade also awarded the LTC Arthur Wilkerson Commander's Award to Cadet BC Jeremy Brann.

The Brigade and MMI Foundation co-hosted the 2011 J.C. Webb Memorial Dove Shoot in Safford, AL on November 3.
