Welcome to Marion Military Institute! My name is Brittany McGee Crawford, and I am the admissions counselor for students with last names that begin with A-K.
I was born and raised in Demopolis, Alabama, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of West Alabama. While at UWA, I was a 4 yr starter for the softball team, and involved in many campus activities.
Softball is what motivated me to move to Marion. Before becoming an admissions counselor, I was the assistant softball/pitching coach at MMI for two seasons. In October of 2011, I married my wonderful husband, Samuel. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, river trips, and playing with my two labs, Jimbo and Ty.
I am excited to be at Marion Military Institute! I truly believe in the life changing leadership opportunities that MMI offers! Students earn a superior education while becoming better people. I would like to start off by saying thank you for considering Marion Military Institute. I am from Calera Alabama, and I received an Associate’s in Science, as well as my commission through the Army Early Commissioning Program while at MMI. I also received my Bachelor’s in Political Science from Auburn University. After Auburn I attended the Military Intelligence branch qualification course, and I am a member of the Alabama Army National Guard.
This institution provides a strong leadership foundation for every student regardless of the career path military or civilian job market. I enjoy traveling the country and sharing the foundation this school has provided for me and other lifelong friends made while at MMI. As an alumnus of MMI, I can tell you that attending this school was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my professional and military career. I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and after MMI I continued my studies at the University of Alabama and UAB where I received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. I have spent 20 years combined in the United States Army and Alabama Army National Guard, serving primarily as a Military Policeman. If a high quality education, coupled with invaluable leadership experiences in order to be competitive in the United States Armed Forces or the civilian marketplace is what you are looking for, then MMI is the right place for you! Hello, and welcome to Marion Military Institute. My name is Haley Harper and I am the Administrative Assistant to the VP of Enrollment at MMI.
I was born in Tuscaloosa, AL, but raised in a small town called Greensboro which is also known as the “Catfish Capital.” I’m a 2008 graduate of Southern Academy and attend George C. Wallace Community College in Selma, AL.
I moved to Marion for this wonderful job opportunity at MMI. I enjoy fishing, home décor, and spending time with family and friends.
