How To Apply

Freshmen:
Complete the Application for Admission. If you need assistance, please contact the MMI Admissions Office.  Students who were previously enrolled at Marion Military Institute must re-apply for admission as a Re-admitted Student if they have not been enrolled at MMI during the previous academic term.

Along with the Application for Admission, submit a high school transcript and a $30 application fee. Your admission application can not be processed without this fee.    If you are submitting your high school transcript prior to your graduation from high school, please ensure that you also request a final high school transcript be sent to MMI upon your graduation from high school.

When submitting your application fee by check, please indicate on the check to whom the fee should be credited and the expected semester of enrollment. The application fee is not required of students seeking admission status as a Readmitted Student. All other admissions categories require an application fee.

Take the ACT or SAT, and have your official test results sent to MMI. If you wish to take the institutional version of the ACT at MMI, you will need to schedule an appointment for the test by phoning the Admissions Office.

Transfer Students:

All of the same paperwork is required as for freshman admissions; however, those desiring to enter after attending another college must also provide official copies of transcripts from any other colleges attended.

·

Once You've Applied:
All students are required to live on campus.  Exception is made for students residing with their parents within 25 miles of MMI as determined by an official state map.

Apply for financial assistance!    Complete the online FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), and contact the MMI Office of Financial Aid if you need assistance at (334) 302-1032 or have questions about completing the form.

Arrange to have a final high school transcript (clearly indicating your graduation date) sent to the Office of Admissions immediately after you graduate.
