Now that you're admitted...
If you accept your offer for admission, submit your $200.00 housing deposit to the Office of Admissions and Records ASAP. You have two options to pay your room deposit:
1. Contact our Admissions Office at (800) 664-1842 with your credit card in hand; you may pay by phone.
2. You can mail a check or money order to Marion Military Institute, ATTN: Director for Admissions, 1101 Washington Street, Marion, Alabama 36756.
Upon admittance to MMI, you will receive by mail a detailed packet of information from the Commandant's office within 14 days.
Everything you will need to know about barracks move-in will be included in the Commandant's packet:
- Barracks Standard Operating Procedures:
-Unit assignment
-Room assignment
-Room inspection prior to move-in
-Room inventory
- Cadet Handbook
-Involves everything that happens outside of the classroom and is coordinated by the Office of the Commandant.
With respect to housing, cadets fall into one of two categories: commuting or boarding. Commuting cadets must live within a 30-mile radius of the campus with parents or legal guardians. MMI requires all cadets exceeding the 30-mile radius or not living with parents or guardians to live in the barracks. To be eligible for occupancy in a barracks, a cadet must be an enrolled full-time student at MMI
