Dear Prospective Student,
Welcome to the Academic web page of Marion Military Institute. The information you will find here reflects our dedication to our mission: to prepare each graduate for success at four-year institutions, including the service academics, with an emphasis on an enriching range of whole-person development experiences.
We offer associate of science and associate of arts degree programs, based on a strong General Studies curriculum taught by credentialed faculty who care about our students and their educational progress. Within those degree programs, students have options tailored to their interests; they can choose the General Studies curriculum or, within that curriculum, select academic concentrations which focus on discipline areas, including, among others, natural science, pre-nursing, elementary education, and criminal justice.
We support these academic programs with a curriculum of electives essential for successful transfer to a four-year program. Our performing arts, fitness, and humanities courses, for example, introduce students to a variety of experiences essential to excelling in a challenging world.
We strive for consistently superior performance by our faculty, emphasizing ongoing assessment and evaluation of our programs. Almost all of our instructors are full-time and dedicated to professional development, thus ensuring they use the most current methods. We are also committed to the most current technologies in our classrooms. Our small class size demands a high quality of diligence from both instructor and students.
